This cd contains many of the solos that Bob and I have performed this past year. From the very first service, many congregants asked if we had a cd. This began the thought that perhaps we should have one. As this year passed and I performed more solos, the prospect of a cd increased. I truly wanted to produce a product that I could be proud of and that the members of my congregation would enjoy.

The opportunity for this dream became a reality when Mike Lancy offered to help us and I am truly grateful for all of his time, advice and dedication to my dreams.

I must thank the steering committee and specifically Mel and Arnie for the potential of making this cd. Had they not encouraged me to be the cantorial soloist for Beth Ami, I would never have taken on this adventure.

I want to thank my husband Bob for being there for me. I have loved the hundreds of hours that we have practiced into the wee hours of the morning. He is always sensitive to my vocal needs when we are performing. I love the way that we have grown together, not just as performers but also as a couple. It often reminds me of the fact that he hired me at first sight to perform in a summerstock company and how much I enjoyed working with him then as well as now.

I want to thank my son, Sean for his love and support. When he plays the piano for us, it is a moment that Bob and I treasure.

I hope that you enjoy this cd and that the music brings you peaceful thoughts and perhaps feel a little closer to g-d.
