JUNE 1, 2011 - I can't believe I just finished my third full season as Beth Ami's cantorial soloist. It has been a great year. The Yom Kippur service featured a Phx Symphony violinist, Lan Qui, and I was accompanied by a concert pianist, Beverly Fletcher, as well as my husband, Bob. It was such a special service that Beth Ami hired them back for the next Yom Kippur service!

Over the summer, Bob and I will be working in the recording studio and performing at the Witten wedding in mid-July.

I found a lot of beautiful music for my solos. I loved them so much that I want to put many of them on my next CD. Perhaps it will be finished in the fall. Stay tuned.

AUGUST 1, 2010 – Well the season will start once again in September. I am so excited. Erev Yom Kippur, I will not only have Bob accompanying me on some of the melodies, but also Beverly Fletcher will be accompanying on the piano. She is a wonderful pianist. I can't wait to sing the Kol Nidre with Beverly this year. This will be a very special service.

This past year was so wonderful! I can't believe how many things were accomplished.

With the help of our friend, Mike Lancy and my husband, Bob Johnson I was able to do so many things that I had only dreamed of.

I wrote the children's book, "My Name Is Cassie... and I don't eat daisies.", AND I recorded a CD titled, "....I'm Listening." Bob and I performed for the Phoenix Jewish Film Festival and 3 of my CD tracks were used for the LA new production, "A Tiny Piece of Land".

I can't wait to see what adventures are in store for this year!

SPRING 2010 - Mizmor Shir, Hal'luyah and Sim Shalom from "I'm Listening" can be heard in the production of "A Tiny Piece of Land" at the Pico Playhouse in Los Angeles, California. The show ran from Thursday April 8, through Sunday April 24, 2010, and will open in New York City, this Fall. Last month Bob and I went to L.A. to see the new play "A Tiny Piece Of Land".

It was so exciting to see the show and hear my songs played during the performance. Listen in at Music.

WINTER 2009-10 - My CD, "I'm Listening", is Now Available! Check it out under Music.
